Yeah the next one is much much bigger and it's local for me. So we will see what happens. I'm getting the itchies from the fake tanner..it dried out my skin pretty bad....I think I'll take a lotion bath tonight...LOL!!! ;)
Yep, that stuff 'l getcha! Scrub down really good and use a HEAVY moisturizer.....let it sink in and then more moisturizer!

Good Gawd woman...you look GREAT....ah good advice from Sassy...use this one as a learning experience and pick another!

You looked very good.....Just too be able to get your body into the condition to step on stage is awesome. It's easy for a jelly donut eating pig to sit on the couch and say if I wanted to I could look like that. Well then prove it. No matter what, your still a winner for getting out there and doing it ;)

Thanks Bowtech!!!
 It definately one of the toughest things I have ever done but i love a challenge and I definately found it in this!!!

I just wanted to reiterate - I thought your posing in the pix presented really well! That girl next to you w/ the stance that looks painful -- egads.

Thanks Sassy! Looking back at the pics...My posing was dead on compared to alot of the other girls but what are you gonna do? I will take what I learned and use it for the next one. One thing I do know is that my lower body still needs some work, more lunges more squats! Again I am not dissapointed in the outcome. It was a great learning experience and a awesome challenge! I really loved it. I walk away knowing I did the best that I could do.
;)

MILF I was pretty sad about my lack of placing in my first comp but got great feedback from the judges and Sassy gave me some great advice as well. "It is not about the destination but the journey." Two cheers for doing what is most peoples worst nightmare. :rose:

I think my friends and family were really shocked and dissapointed...I really didn't care about placing at all i really just wanted to see if I could do it. If I could take the pressure, do the extreme dieting. There were moments tword the end when I wished it would just be over and I felt like shit and just wanted to die because of the lack of energy, but I kept telling myself to just push through it's almost over...it will be soooo worth it in the end. IT DEFINATELY WAS!

It's odd, but the harder my training got (I was yelled at alot to push harder at the end...ugh!!!), the more tired and the less energy I had only made me want to push harder to make it...I think you have to be a little mental to do this shit...LOL!

I have no desire to compete but I'm starting to train as if I were. Seems easier that way.

A little mental? I prefer the term "socially challenged."
