*Bump*!

*Thump thump thump*!

"Oooouuuuch"!

That was me falling off the healthy diet wagon this weekend :bawling:

Picking myself up and dusting off as we speak.

*sigh* "Com 'ere you damn horse"

Any motivational thoughts for me?
I haven't read any of the other posts but I think you could benefit from a new diet. Sorry I'm a little fuzzy, but if I remember correctly you were trying a carb rotation diet. Maybe this Low Carb No carb High Carb diet just isn't working for you if you can't stick to it, ya know? You can try a simple 40P/30C/30F for at least 2-3 weeks, then once you feel comfortable and satisfied throw in a carb rotation here and there and see how that works for you.

Best of Luck.

Still hate your avi

I do fine during the week. It's the weekends where my schedule is thrown off that I have problems. David is home, he doesn't stick to a healthy diet... so it's very easy for me to cheat as well. I seem to lose my willpower when someone else is all too happy to pay for me to eat junk. LOL.

Another lesson learned was that there are certain foods that just CANNOT be in my house, no matter if someone else wants it or not. Froot Loops proved to be my undo-ing. I have 3 different types of ice cream here for the kids, and I have NO PROBLEMS avoiding it... but Froot Loops are the debil.

Yeah, that seems to be the general consesus - but I've been too lazy to look for another one yet. I'll do it soon.

:lmao:

I think we all have a food like this.... I think Bunny and I can agree that ours is peanut butter ;)

Good thing my huney doesn't like peanut butter so he couldn't careless if it's in the house or not.

Do not try and fool yourself with saying ok it was a cheat, or you were getting your metabolism revved, or it was a carb up day. Because you'll learn to trick yourself more often.

Be honest with yourself you slipped, nothing wrong with that, it happens to the best of us. Just pick yourself up and get back to it. This probably wasn't the 1st time you fell, and I promise you it won't be the last. Don't beat yourself up over it, it happened you can't change it, just get back to the diet, and try harder.

Believe me it happens to all of us. It doesn't matter how focused or how much willpower you have their isn't a woman on this site that hasn't fallen off of her diet at least once at some point.

Hell I fell off once and landed in a big bag of pecans, I'm sure Bunny remembers lol. I wanted to cry because it was close to a competition, I couldn't believe I was eating them, yet I couldn't stop.
and how about my Jars of All Natty PB, eh?

I remember doing this when I first jumped into this fitness lifestyle. I think many of those fresh into this lifestyle go down this path when s/he first starts. I've converted a binge on CLIF bars to a carb up, a Jar of PB into a Fat Load (which Shadow kindly pointed out 'works for me' - bless his heart) but after awhile, I began to understand my body and realized that the PB needed to be removed from the premises, no more Clif Bars when I couldn't control my cravings etc.

Now I can eat a TBSP and not want the jar, or have a Meal Replacement Bar and know that's all it is, a Meal replacement, not a candy bar.

Aandd you will get there. You are logging and we are here to support and help you. Of course if you are going to pursue a career in fitness, modeling, competing etc. I think you would need to take a more strict approach to handling & preventing cheats. If you are doing this to be physcial, active and healthy, do what you're doing, brush yourself off and try again. You didn't fail, you are learning more and more about yourself and about your body.

I agree with Daisy Girl from awhile back when she said if you are eating clean 6 days a week you're body can afford to have that 7th day as a cheat. (sorry if I misquoted ya :rose: )

That is why I thought maybe you should look at your diet and try a different approach because in your log, I saw a couple slip ups that might stem from your High/Low/No Carb Diet you are on. Maybe it WILL work for you, just not yet... Just my thoughts.

Best of Luck.
