martial arts + weighttraining

I was thinking about gettign back into martial arts. Basically grappling(wrestling.Brazilian JJ and others combined). My question is, should I weightlift the days I train martial arts, or off days? Also, will my strength and weight suffer as a result of training in martial arts? If I were to try to keep my size and strength, what would I do?

I train in MMAs usually 6 days a week so I sort of have to lift on my training days. I'm not saying this is the only way to maintain size so I don't want to hear a bunch of flames from guys, but with my genetics and the amount of cardio I do for those six days, I use gear. When I'm not on I eat like a motherfucker, drink 1-2 gallons of water a day, take lots of glutamine, antioxidants, etc and sleep 9 hours. I usually try to grab a nap at lunch also.

Of course the chance of overtraining increases when you lift and train on the same days, but as long as you're not lifting everytime you train, and you watch you're diet, etc; you should be good to go. You won't grow like you would if you didn't do all that cardio, but its still possible with dedication bro. Good luck :)
