Read the quote from Longhorn. it talked about people who were not Christian, had abortions, divorces, etc being the cause of the denegration of marriage.

That is why i said these people are making choices for themselves. They don't make other people get married, get divorced, or whatever. Each person makes their own choices.

Hmmm. Not sure how this became personal, but I didn't intend it that way.

I fully admit that I married over my head, but not due to luck.

But aren't I one of these terrible persons. Obviously, I have had sex out of wedlock and am having a baby. I've also gotten a divorce once. So, how is it that I am destroying the institution of marriage? I fit in on your list of people who are destroying it for all of you married people. I just can't figure out how.

I wasn't talking about you marrying over your head. I don't know what you mean by that. I am talking about the fact that even in a situation where we no longer had no-fault divorce, your wife would have had grounds for divorce. So, aren't you a destroyer of marriage for everyone too? Isn't that considered "promiscuity" on your list? Does adultery not count?

I'm not attacking you personally. Don't get me wrong. We all make mistakes. I'm attacking your idealogy that people's choices to be unmarried somehow affects your right to marry or to stay married.

well this is true.it is a lot more acceptable in this day and age then it was before...and trying to say that has no effect on the chose some one would make about it is just plain dumb,but really it should have nothing to do with being Christian at all.Christian or not years ago all these things like gays,sex before marige,divorce,were unacceptable and looked down one for many many more reasons then just because god said so.

you are helping to add to the give up nation.have it your way nation that america has become.....things are not going your way...give up...it used to be people did every thing they could to work things out.its not all your falt ether.men used to step up and act like a man and do every thing they can for there kids.now if they dont like it or it gets to hard they can just give up and have it there way...buy you saying its ok you make it that much more easy for they next person to do the same.......

angel had cuase to leave me more then a few times and I here....but we stuck threw it.we did not give up and walk away because it was the easy thing to do.now we have worked years on what we have and it was well worth it.

It was just the fact that this baby was the result of me being a home wrecker that was surprising to me. I found it an odd assumption.
