I am currently in a cutting cycle and am eating around 1550 cals per day. First week I lost about 4-5 pounds. interesting.

Can anyone clear this up for me...? I've read too many different things telling how to find your maintenance calories..

1) BWx12
2) BWx15
3) The multiple depends on your bodytype
4) BWX12+Thermic Effect Of Food ... etc etc...

Does anyone know a sure fire way to find my maintenance? links or anything usefull? thank you.

their is only one way to really know. when you hit a stand still in growth look at how many cals you are eating and that is your number. then up it and start gaining again when you stop growing that is your new number. everything else like that stupid fit day is wrong. unless of course you are exactly the same as the people they based these studies on. but there is a slim chance of that. using other peoples judgements and calculations will ALWAYS result in slower progress. use a pen, paper, cloth tape measurer, and a mirror to find out what you need.
