Tommy - I'm not sure where you got the idea that oats are the best carb source out there, so that means you have to only incorporate them ito your diet, idea, but it's wrong. You need variety. You do not want to eat the same food source day in and day out, as you are missing many key elements (vits, minls,etc) associated with other foods. 1-2 cups of oats is PLENTY. Incorporate whole grain or flax bread, whole wheat pasta, yams, VEGGIES, and you'll be on your way....like I said, it's nearly impossible to bulk cleanly the entire time........you are 17 years old with a roaring metabolism.....EAT!
