The NFC East is not the best division in football. Who's a real threat besides the Eagles? Some teams have improvedin the NFC E , but i wouldn't say thats the strongest division. That article is only an opion of the writer.

It really annoys my when people say a division is the “toughest in football” just because you can’t predict who is the stronger team. In reality, each of the teams is at about the same skill level, which is usually mediocre
Ok, sure you can’t pick who will win those inter-division games, but put any of those teams against one of the better teams from another division, and they will get their ass kicked! For example, the Rams and the 49ers will kill each and every one of those teams this year, barring injury.
All those teams are mediocre, so that doesn’t make them the toughest in the league! It just means that on a given Sunday, any of them could beat the others. This also goes for the so-called “black and blue” NFC central of the 90’s.
Ask me which is the toughest division in football, and I’ll say one with more than one elite team…. Ie. NFC West.

the NFC east isnt' very good. I'd say the AFC East, AFC North, and NFC West are the top 3.

Top to bottom, NFC East is the best.
The east won superbowls in : '71, '77, '82, '86, '87, '90, '91, '92, '93 and '95. No other division has more titles.

AFC east is prob the best division all the way around. Other Divisions have stronger teams like Rams, Pitt, Phil. I see the afc very tight this year. Like every other year.
