Lifting for Work?

Blood&Iron,

LOL! Thats awesome. People ask me what I'm majoring in and they expect something stupid because they expect me to be a football player. Love there reaction when I tell them computer science. :)

6ft6, did you happen to notice how you kept your post modest but didn't get flamed, 2+2=..........?

Computer networking+security still student trying to hit an internship now that I finished ccnp as I work up still.

Best part is that I can bring my 21" to lan parties, too big and inconvenient bah! grow some muscle.

Alot of guys there actually bring 17"ers because they say there other monitors are to heavy and big to be toting around bwahaha.

Only 2 types of people at those parties extremely skinny and extrememely drunk.

I figure with my tire flipping...if this college thing fails...I can always go to work for a farm supply store. What about a rock quarry? With the stone flipping?

Still looking for a good workout program to help a gas attendant though...maybe lots of grip and forearm work?

B True

I couldn't imagine any workout program that would cause any significant performance increase for a gas station attendant. Even with a super strong grip, the gas will only come out so fast... :)

i dont need to train for work........i get enough of a work out as it is.

I work in a service deli.......but i never get to serve.

im out the back all the time in the freezers/ cool rooms unloading deliveries.

just yesterday i clean and jerked over 120 24kg tubs of chicken.(we dont go through that many tubs.....its just the way the place is designed....you have to restack and restack)

it starts out pretty easy then gets harder and harder once the stacks get over head.

i get a good warm up though, meats are usually delivered first, with average box weight being 12kgs and average load being 15-150 cartons.....but coming to christmas they get up too 250

another fun part of the job is pallet stacking. usually there is no one around to help........so its a personal challange to see how high you can get on your own. if there is someone else around we usually have form contests.......involving a gorrila press of the pallet and a flip onto the top
