I'm a firefighter and I use basic compound movements for strength. I use low reps and heavy weight reps around 8-4 for upper body. Lower body I do higher reps 20-8. I really bust my ass on legs because when we have on alll our gear, going up and down stairs your legs really fatigue climbing ladders will kick your ass too. Design your training are your primary job function. and why does someone at a gas station need to be strong???????
