Hey guys,

Need some expert advice here. I'm about 5 lbs off from my contest weight and a little stuck. There isn't a problem with my diet PLAN or workouts... The problem is that for the past 2 weeks I've fallen off the wagon with the diet a few times. Still eating 100% clean but overportioning and it's hampering my fat loss.

I was weighing and measuring before and I know that's what it takes for me to lose the fat but for some reason I'm $hitting the bed! What gives? Any advice? (aside from the basic, "pull your head out of your ass" stuff?)? Anyone gone through this?

I know you can help me figure out how to exit this 8th inning slump!!

I don't know what your diet is like but have you tried switching/changing anything? Trying cycling your diet a little, or try to actually slack just a tiny bit to fire up your metabolism and speed up the process.

You tried carb cycling? Not sure what you're doing with diet at the moment, but as the guy above stated, sometimes After excess weight loss your metabolism is quite low, so upping the calories to trick your body, then dropping low again can be beneficial if you can utilize it :)

I'm a girl lol and that's exactly what I was trying to say! This darn adaptive nature of the body makes it react to the diet almost the same way it reacts to training. If you don't switch or cycle your body will eventually adapt and sit there still. Same thing goes towards gaining muscle. Try to switch macro ratios/types of food/timing/etc..?

I have been doing this and knocked another few lbs off this week, which is great. Lifts are still strong and I'm feeling pretty good.

Moved my show back 3 weeks but I only have another 2-3 lb of fat to go, so hopefully it will be a pretty gentle transition!
