Kobe Bryant just dropped 81 points

I think the most interesting statistic was that it was his 666th game played....

It's an impressive outpouring of points.

However, he still has a way to go to catch Jordan in field goals made/attempts in a single season (in which they both played 82 games-Kobe's only season of playing all regular season games so far was the 02-03 season-which also happened to be Jordan's last):

Bryant: field goals made/attempts: 868/1,924; total season points: 2,461
02-03 season, 7th year.

Jordan: field goals made/attempts: 1,098/2,279; total season points: 3,041
86-87 season, 3rd year (2nd full year, considering that he missed 64 games in the prior season due to an ankle injury).

Still the king.

ya good call on shaq being worthless.. heat wouldn't make it past second round of playoffs without him..

and good call on the free throws thing too.. wilt chamberlain is prob. the best center to ever play the game yet the worst free throw shooter.. brilliant call on that one..

The bottom line is if you can't make free throws you're not a complete player.
