Just thought I would share with you all what I just did 10 minutes ago. I've been preparing for this moment for a long time.
My wife went out with a friend and I knew the time was now as she has absolutely no clue and would kill me if she found out. I got everything together and mentally prepared myself. Now I know this probably sounds trivial to many, but this was my first injection ever and I was quite nervous.
My cycle is sust 500 for 10 weeks. So I crack the glass ampule which I didn't have too much problem doing after scoring it at its narrowest part. Using a 1.5" 23 gauge needle, I inserted it into the oil and began to withdrawl. I was surprised at how long it took for the oil to get in the needle I guess because its thick. My hands were shaking quite badly at this point and I was having a hard time keeping the little glass ampule still while using both hands to withdrawl. Any tips on this? Well I finally sucked it all up, tapped the air bubbles out, and pushed all the air out until I saw oil drip out of the tip and down the needle.
So I'm looking at my naked ass in the mirror and see my target. I alcohol swap it down good and then get the needle ready. Now my heart starts to race through the ceiling. I keep telling myself to just fuckin do this shit but I just can't seem to do it. After about 20 minutes of this bullshit, I get really pissed at my pussy self and, with adreneline pumping, push the needle in. I felt a slight prick at first, but then to my surprise, the needle was going in like a hot knife through butter. I actually thought something was wrong because there was no pain. I was expecting all this time to feel pain of somekind but I was feeling nothing. I almost buried the 1.5" needle, aspirated which was very hard because my hands were shaking, saw the little air bubbles I read that I would see, and then began injecting.
I look back over the experience and I"m pleasently surprised at how easy it was. All that built up anxiety for nothing. Now I know that was my first injection so we will see how my next ones go but I think its that first one that is so hard to do and its all downhill from here.
