It's true

Indeed, but the fact that Zimmerman pursued him doesnt make this as cut and dry as you may like dontchathink?

Maybe, maybe not.

I saw a suspicious car strolling around at 5 in the morning, so I drove to find the guy, got out and asked him what he was doing. It turned out it was the paper boy.

No harm no foul.

Now, he was driving slow, in front of houses, like you'd expect, but it looked like he might possibly be up to no good.

Nothing happened, it was fine. This happened for real.

Now, let's say the guy has an iced tea and skitless in his pocket he picked up at the gas station, and he gets out of his car because be is mad that I was watching him, and starts beating the shit out of me. He smashes my head into the pavement repeatedly. This guy isn't going to stop, so shoot and kill him.

Am I in the wrong because I followed him?

Hell no.

That mother phvkker would deserve to get shot.

The fact that I did or did not call the cops before hand doesn't mean shit either.

Based upon everything we know, I'd give Zimmerman his life back and not apologize about it either. You can't convict a guy of murder based upon speculation about whether Zimmerman or Martin started the fight. The evidence proves that Zimmerman got a handful of head wounds. And Martin only had a bullet hole. Now. Who would be screaming for help? That's still speculative, but I'd imagine it's the guy getting his head smashed into the pavement.

Zimmerman can't be guilty of anything more than being a dumbass and not minding his own business.

Oh, the black community is going to be furious about this, understandably so, but they are emotionally tired because they made this national news and the media turned it into a race issue from day 1. They demonized and lied about Zimmerman.

And GJohnson thinks getting found not-guilty is a reward? This guy is going to have to move far away just to prevent himself from being a victim of revenge.

I think manslaughter would be reasonable if it was one of the original charges. I think it's bullshit for them to throw it in at the end because they realized they did a shitty job of prosecuting. I think that gets things going down a dangerous road, personally.

Yeah, you're also dumb as hell for following someone around. Are you really so naive that you don't see why that's A bad idea? The paperboy should've told you to mind you're own fucking business.

What if he had told you to fuck off? Would you have detained him?

Yup. Cool tough guy bro story.

Could have instigated a fight and shot him in self defense.

Eh Id like if all states allowed such leeway. Id rather have someone who is guilty of a crime be imprisoned as opposed to him/her getting off on a technicality. Think of someone standing trial for a murder 1 charge and despite the fact that overwhelming physical evidence exists, the prosecution wasnt able to prove that premeditation occurred.

Applies especially to this case, and much of the defense's argument drives the point home. It was awesome when they brought the guy who owns Zimmermans gym up to the witness stand to testify about how much of a pussy Zimmerman is. A wannabe cop with a history of violence shot an unarmed man on the doorstop of his home because he unwisely started a confrontation and quickly found himself in over his head. The precedent of a not guilty verdict is scary to contemplate.

Rewarded?

Not that I feel bad for the guy, but he has gone through hell for this.

He needs to go through many more years of hell in general population.....

1. Hopefully the Jury finds that he was originally looking for a person of color due to the break ins in that gates Twin Lakes community, so he's already played the race card
2. He stalked and profiled a person who had reason to be there after being told not to continue to follow
3. rachel jeantel said that she heard Trayvon say "Why are you following me". Then a man breathing hard said "What are you doing here" Then there was a bump and the phone went dead.
There was a struggle and Trayvon end up dead. He had no defensive wounds on his hands.

IMHO this means that Zimmerman attacked Trayvon, not the sucker punch theory that the defense put up. If Trayvon sucker punched Zimmerman , he would have had wounds on his hands/knuckles. However he does not. This seems to destroy the self defense claim

Now he guilty of atleast manslaughter

1) There's no way to prove that.

2) Listen to the call. Martin ended up running away from Zimmerman before he followed 2 minutes later, which made him that much more suspicious. What dispatch told him doesn't mean shit to prove anything.

3) Defense wounds or hand scrapes injuries isn't necessarily going to be present when you get in a fist fight. Slamming someone's head repeatedly doesn't require you to get injured in return. That doesn't destroy anything. In fact the dozen swollen and/or bloody lumps on Zimmerman's head shows Martin was being extremely aggressive and vicious while Zimmerman apparently did absolutely nothing to Martin until he pulled the trigger. This definitely supports the self defense claim with an extremely strong string of evidence.
