Indeed, but the fact that Zimmerman pursued him doesnt make this as cut and dry as you may like dontchathink?
Maybe, maybe not.
I saw a suspicious car strolling around at 5 in the morning, so I drove to find the guy, got out and asked him what he was doing. It turned out it was the paper boy.
No harm no foul.
Now, he was driving slow, in front of houses, like you'd expect, but it looked like he might possibly be up to no good.
Nothing happened, it was fine. This happened for real.
Now, let's say the guy has an iced tea and skitless in his pocket he picked up at the gas station, and he gets out of his car because be is mad that I was watching him, and starts beating the shit out of me. He smashes my head into the pavement repeatedly. This guy isn't going to stop, so shoot and kill him.
Am I in the wrong because I followed him?
Hell no.
That mother phvkker would deserve to get shot.
The fact that I did or did not call the cops before hand doesn't mean shit either.
Based upon everything we know, I'd give Zimmerman his life back and not apologize about it either. You can't convict a guy of murder based upon speculation about whether Zimmerman or Martin started the fight. The evidence proves that Zimmerman got a handful of head wounds. And Martin only had a bullet hole. Now. Who would be screaming for help? That's still speculative, but I'd imagine it's the guy getting his head smashed into the pavement.
Zimmerman can't be guilty of anything more than being a dumbass and not minding his own business.
Oh, the black community is going to be furious about this, understandably so, but they are emotionally tired because they made this national news and the media turned it into a race issue from day 1. They demonized and lied about Zimmerman.
And GJohnson thinks getting found not-guilty is a reward? This guy is going to have to move far away just to prevent himself from being a victim of revenge.
