itchy from primo???

supergirl

High End Bro
Platinum
I have a whacky question... i just started primo and my privates have become super itchy... has anyone else experienced this, do you think there is a link??? it is a little embarassing walking around scratching my boobs and v (lol) oh well...

Itchy Bits......

I had the same exact problems coupled with soreness from.

1. Deca in the past.

2. Tamoxifen in the past.

I have never used either since.

It happens and it's really aggravating. I suggest you check if the gear is making you have thrush (Candida), in which case, use a Clotrimazole Pessary or Cream or leave Primo, unless you can brave it. Never affected my boobs though!!! If it's not thrush then maybe it's just simply makes you itchy like it did me, no matter how clean you are it just happens.

Pisses you off dosen't it?

Hang in there girl.

Respect.

S.

;) ;) :)

from what I've read

I've never used primo, but I've read a lot here...

And from what I've read, itchy clit seems to be the precursor to enlarged clit.

Correct me if I'm wrong, peeps, but that's what I'm picking up from all the threads I've read. I don't know if the itchness goes away once the enlargement starts or not.

I've always had problems with that...when I wasn't using AS! The minute I came off of primo, I had an other candida infection. I had no problem at all with that when I was on it. Same thing for my skin: always had problem with it and during my primo's cycle, my skin was so clear!!
LG

so far there is no enlargement, just itchiness... i also started taking some acidophilus to ward off any possible yeast infection. I am also due for my period now, so i will see if it effects that at all... But other than that, all is well... thanks for everyones input
 SG

sgirl - you saying yeast infections are a possible side? I'm on my first winny cycle and kinda noticed the symptoms...

Itchy clit, infections, zits, gyno & hair loss, "deca dick", etc. etc. for the guys - this stuff really hits you in the most "inconvenient" ways don't it?? :bawling:

You are right wyst.... my wife did a cycle of primo and got an itchy/enlarged clit. It also became more sensitive, which we both liked;) The itchyness does go away and the swelling of the clit will also go down some, but not to the original size.

SASSY.... is it worth it to you? Seems like you are getting hit with the worst of the worst... Everyone's body reacts differently to gear so there is no telling what it will do. I am monitoring my body and the first truly negative sign, i am off... an itchy clit i can deal with, but hair loss etc... hell no.
And yeast infections are common so i am sticking with the supplimentation of acidophilus... it is working! Also i am using multis of course and some lysine to also help fight any possible infections and keep the immune system up.

SG

noooooooooooooooo.....

sorry - wasn't saying I have all those symptoms. Jeez, I'd stop in a heartbeat. Just commenting on all the not fatal, but really annoying ways that AS can affect you...

This is a little late, but - how long after you started your primo did you notice the itchiness and what not?

everything is cool... i took some acidophilus and all is well... no itchiness BUT it is sensitive as hell!!!! A perk though if you ask me.

SG

Sorry, I'm repearing my question I asked a little further up - How long did it take after your first injection that you noticed these sides? (To anyone who has tried primo). Thanks.

the only side i noticed was an itchy clit and that was like the next day and only lasted for a couple of days... i did however start on the acidophilus just in case because i have heard that yeast infections are a possible side effect as well and i figured i would try to avoid that annoyance... But i am now onto my 4th shot which is a little after 2 weeks and all is well!!!
FITGAL... ya thinking bout it???

SG

I hate admitting this (the quitting, suspecting fake part), but I had planned on doing 6 weeks, one shot a week. I took the first two shots and it was the day before the third, and talking to some people around the gym they said I should have noticed something very soon after, especially being a girl. I had one guy (a body builder) look at it and he said that it could be suspicious of being fake. Of course I was all disappointed and discouraged because I hadn't noticed anything yet after two full weeks. I didn't take any more shots, though I still have 4 left. Its been just over a week since I missed my third shot. I'm thinking now I maybe should have stuck with it longer, maybe I just respond differently than others.
I should have made this a new post, but now I've let it invade into somebody elses post. Sorry bout' that.

so much for the acidophilus... i got a yeast infection anyway... oh well.. i know the results are worth this bullshit... just no sex for like 3 days.. lol Everything else is great i am starting to see some changes.. my skin is tighter and i am already 1%leaner and my clit is super sensitive!!! Added bonus :)

I do have a ?%$%$?:bawling: yeast infection right now! I started my second cycle yesterday night (so it's not primo causing infection in my case) and I was wondering if it's contradicate taking some Diflucan (antibiotics against yeast infection)? Does someone have an idea?????

LG

LG... i just bought some monostat because i can't take the itching... don't think it should interfere with the gear because i am using a cream... maybe you should stick to the annoying self applicating shit from hell too lol

good luck :)

SG

My medication is not a cream it's one pill that kills all the germs. I had bad problems with it couple years ago and my doctor gave me that super medication (very very strong!) I took it for 6 months (one pill a month) and everything was fine for maybe three years. But, like you see, it came back! That pill costs 25$ for one fuc%?%$ pill.
So you think I should wait to take this pill? Cream is not efficient for me:(

LG,
The below extract is from Medscape.com, and it would seem that there are no known interactions with AAS, specifically Primo. There are some interactions that I did not copy, so if you are on meds, you may wish to check the site. I listed oral contraceptive info for the obvious reason, and the theophylline because I know some BB use it and I THINK that DNP and Theophylline have similar cross reactions. (but I am not sure)

I hope this helps...

================================================================================
Fluconazole is used in the treatment of oropharyngeal, esophageal, or vulvovaginal candidiasis and in the treatment of other serious systemic candidal infections (e.g., urinary tract infections, peritonitis, candidemia, disseminated candidiasis, meningitis, pneumonia).
Vulvovaginal Candidiasis.

For the treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis, adults should receive a single (1 day only) 150-mg oral dose of fluconazole. To prevent relapse of vulvovaginal candidiasis in women with a history of recurrent infections, a single 150-mg oral dose of fluconazole has been given at monthly intervals (given 1—4 days after menstruation). Alternatively, 100-mg doses have been given once weekly for 6 months.

Drug Interactions from AHFS DI™

While fluconazole can alter the pharmacokinetics of certain drugs that undergo hepatic metabolism, the magnitude of such alterations appears to be less than those associated with ketonazole; however, comparative studies have not been performed to date. In addition, the possibility that the risk of developing such interactions may be increased at relatively high fluconazole dosages (e.g., 200 mg daily or more) should be considered.

Oral Contraceptives

Concomitant administration of fluconazole and oral estrogen-progestin contraceptives reportedly does not produce clinically important effects on the pharmacokinetics of the contraceptives. In healthy premenopausal women receiving oral contraceptivesand 50-mg oral doses of fluconazole given once daily for 10 days, the mean increase in AUCs of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel was 6 (range: -47 to 108%) and 17% (range: -33 to 141%), respectively. In addition, in a controlled study in healthy women receiving oral contraceptives concomitantly with 200-mg oral doses of fluconazole or placebo for 10 days, AUCs of both levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol were increased substantially in women receiving oral fluconazole compared with those receivingplacebo; mean increases in AUCs of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel were 38 (range: -11 to 101%) and 25% (range: -12 to 82%), respectively. However, in some women ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel concentrations decreased by 47 and 33%, respectively. The manufacturer suggests that decreases in ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel concentrations may be the result of random variation. While limited data indicate that fluconazole may inhibit metabolism of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel, there is no evidence that fluconazole is an inducer of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel metabolism.

Theophylline

Concomitant administration of theophylline and fluconazole increases serum theophylline concentrations. In a study in healthy adults, administration of a single dose of IV aminophylline (6 mg/kg) after 14 days of oral fluconazole (200 mg daily) resultedin a 21 or 13% increase in the mean AUC or peak plasma concentration of theophylline, respectively, and a mean decrease of 16% in theophylline clearance; the half-life of theophylline increased from 6.6 to 7.9 hours. The manufacturer recommends thatserum theophylline concentrations be monitored carefully in patients receiving fluconazole.

yea... that was mad cool Big easy!!! Looks like we are ok then littlegirl :) this shit sucks though... oh well.. it is worth it

hey supergirl -- bump for an update

Hey Supergirl,

I was following this thread a while back and wondered how your cycle is going?

What kind of results have you seen? How much bigger, harder, what sorts of gains?

How did the itchiness turn out for you -- did it go away? Did it turn into some kind of enlargement down there? Still enjoying the extra sensitivity?

Any bad sides?

Wyst

hey wyst...
i did 4 weeks of primo... definitely got harder, got a little leaner and put on some more muscle and definition.. i just started switched on over to anavar now for the next 5 weeks... so i should lean out a little faster now. Everything is fine!!! After the one battle with a yeast infection, all is well. No clit enlargement, a slight swelling and definite sensitivity :) but things are good... thanks for checking up!!!

Yea I get itchy from prim to but not on my privates! I get itchy on the palms of my hands. Just thought i would let you know
