Is trashing a source allowed in here?

Samir Bannout (google a pic those of you who aren't familiar) won mr olympia in the early 80's and he was 5 6 and "ONLY" 195..

so i agree just going by how much someone weighs is unfair. and it works both ways. there was a dude on here who was 5 6 and 215 and claimed to be 12% body fat and I gave him shit about as I did not believe him that he weighed that much at that height without being very fat.. he posted a pic and i ate crow. he was built like a tank.

there are some 6 footers who are only 190 that i have seen that look 220-230.. why? cause their legs aren't developed enough even though they work them.. maybe just a shitty genetic thing but its something they gotta work on more. but i do notice a lot of the shorter dudes like me have enormous legs due to a lot of different factors. so OP you gotta hit your legs more.. should be an advantage at your height not a crutch.

^^ yeah, I totally agree with the legs thing

Gregs legs are hard as rocks..three quad heads show up ...he's actually building an ass again and they're still very small.
his back and arms build with zero effort. Again, he isn't huge by any stretch but he is very v-shaped.

I'm almost opposite...my legs get huge with almost no effort and I have to lay off working them to reign em in. I have to avoid anything having to do with traps because they are big anyway on me and my neck just looks shorter and shorter otherwise. My back I can't seem to build to save my effin life tho.

I really want to stay over 200 pounds.. its more of a psychological thing.. but like rick said at our heights if i want to step on stage i know i gotta get that shit down under 180 or even lower. even if it means sacrificing my love of powerlifting . i was an ecto all my life and weighed 115 pounds early in high school so its fun being big now and being called big lol and i love that

in that aspect I definately have a lot more maturing to do even at my age

about the only way to reliably say something is bunk is with labs

there are too many other factors at play.

every tall person i know looks awkward when i watch them deadlift or squat.. and they bitch about their knees hurting.. i have NEVER had any problems with my knees.. i really think the taller you are the more prone you are to joint problems in the elbows and knees. it might be a good thing in basketball but its not an advantage in lifting

oh yeah, totally...

I really had to convince him to drop his weight wayyyyy down to "get in the hole"
plus he had a lot of hip and lower leg probs from the motorcycle accident.

He's really leggy.

deadlifting I can't watch him at all...his back roaches a little
and he gets pissed if I try and point it out.

you are only 17 man. keep in the back of your mind what I am telling you for the future.

6'0 isn't ridiculously tall luckily. i would say guys over 6 4 are gonna have major issues with elbows and knees
