It may be the height of immaturity, insecurity, and overall cowardice to truly believe that we simply are not able to control our emotions. I feel bad for those people that operate this way. You don't even give yourselves a fighting chance.

Men are horny. Women are horny. If a dude can find a girl who has no problem being a booty call, why not do it? It's a win-win situation for both sides. No ones being taken advantage of, etc.

This is exactly right. I see a TON of people in this thread who seem to subscribe to the thought that "my way of thinking is absolute truth". You peeps sound quite ignorant, I have to say.

I have done the "fuck buddy" thing before with one of my closest female friends and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Complete honesty, 100% open with each other, lots of communication - that is what ANY type of relationship is about, IMO. Nobody got hurt, both parties got exactly what we wanted and could go to sleep at night with a clear conscience.

To each his own. Some of you need to grow up and respect people that don't think like you. There are no absolute truths - you have to find what works for you in all aspects of your life.
