ok, when u saw this it sounded a little hard.
i dont mean to be disrespectful.

i just read this thread that Nelson wrote about eating food and growing more than if u were on aas.....something like that, good thread. but it seemed that many people dont know that much to make up a good lean bulking diet.

and even in other threads ive read ive gotten the impression that people just eat things that are healthy and sometimes junk food but sometimes the eat more or less than that the need....that they just eat but dont have that much of a clue what a proper diet is.

in the diet forum, people post up what the eat, ok, maybe a tablespoon there, 3 medium potatoes there, but its better to keep exactly everything right so u know that ure doing right.
and maybe 50 cals over/under the need isnt going to do much in day or two but in a long while....and in cutting diets...why waste time?

me, i make sure i always stay over 500 cals a day over my need. i dont think u need more than that.
i work as a warehouse worker so i up the cals a bit, maybe 8-900 cals. and on very hard and intensive days when suppersetting legs and back or shit like that add few extra 2-300 cals. but count out the ratios.

everything wroted down, proteins, carbs and fats.
i weigh everything i eat, and have it wroted down, so i KNOW what im doing wrong if im getting too chubby or gaining more fat that muscle.

if that doesnt work for me i change ratios on the proteins or the carbs or the fat.

ive even heard that some say that offseason cycle or not, u must eat to u feel sick.....that u must eat everything.

now, ive never taking aas before. in a few weeks ill start my first.

i know that since ure gaining muscle u must also upp the cals, mybe 200-300 a week or every 1,5 week,

but not overeating.

ok why not.

cutting right now.

2500 cals
55% prot 344 grams
30 % fat 84
15 % carbs 94

125 grams oatmeal
400 grams strimled kicken meat
5 portions of whey
5 whole eggs
4 cans of tuna

all this counted out.

i dont mean to ofend u guys (if u feel it like that)

just saying that keeping the exact track on your diets and experementing whit ratios can work wonders for your physique.

There is I suspect a bit of "bodybuilding ego" to brag how much one can eat, hence the refrain "eat to you feel sick"

I must ask...what is"strimled kicken meat"?

I have been using Fitday.com to track all my food from eggs whites, to a TBSP of Honey.....to even the occasional cheat meal. It has been invaluable for finding out what I am doing right...and what I am doing wrong.

i eat like a freakin animal just about everything fats included because you sure in hell arent gonna grow if u dont eat fats....with all the stuff im on i dont put on any extra fat at all so ill purposely eat fatty things like whole cheese whole eggs some ice cream etc...peanut butter is also somethin i eat alot of everyday

I dont really break anything down. If Im training and eating clean I dont worry about getting fat as I know I will lean out and gain muscle.

I do something like:

Breakfast- 4eggs whites 2 whole eggs scrambled, 2 slice 12grain bread with natty pb and 16oz skim milk

snack- protein shake, 2 scoops whey, 8oz skim , scoop fat free frozen yougurt, hersheys syrup half banana, 2tbsp natty pb

lunch- tuna on 12 grain bread, multi grain wheat thins, granny smith apple, fat free miracle whip

snack-another shake with fruit

Dinner- long grain rice, brocoli, 1lb. steak or baked haddock

snack before bed- non fat cottage cheese with some raspberries or blueberries

If I need a bite during the day it will be almonds or a glass of skim milk or both. If not that, then it will be a multi grain bagel with natty pb

I calorie count.

I know how many calories are in which foods and I count everyday carbs protein and fat. I don't go to sleep til I have enough calories in my diet fo the day.

After lunch time, I will have already eaten 200 grams of protein, 250 grams of carbs and 50 grams of fat.
