..that pro's never do decline presses??

It just occured to me that I have never seen a pic of pro's doing decline barbell or dumbell bench...

Only dips for lower chest.

Kinda weird eh?

Hmmm, weird.... doesn't seem to strain my shoulders like that.

Probly just the way my genetics are.

I was thinking maybe its cause flat exercises recruite a fair amount of lower chest work, so in an attempt to stay proportional, they stay away from those.

A lot of Powerlifters use them to get the same angle as a well arched bench but cut out the leg drive. They are IMO a decent part of a well balanced program, I would include some decline and incline as well as flat work, if you goals are of the aesthetic nature, just keep the sets to a minimum.

but you do see them do dips.......... its the same thing just upside down and only your arms move.
