I think their just getting more coverage. How many days a week do you get those missing kid things in your mail box. I get like two or three a week. Kids are constantly getting pulled. There just getting more news coverage.
Actually abductions are down over 50% this year. There is just a lot more coverage.
it is funny how the media can influence behavior. Until I read that I thought they were up too. Probably another government plot to get you all scared abotu something that is 1 in a million, and then create 12000 more laws to restrict your travel rights.

It's not happening more often...it's just a few high profile cases that came out and now they are reporting it all.
5 years ago I know a girl that was abducted by a large guy-over six feet tall and close to 270Lbs ( looked like the guy from green mile). He pulled over and asked her for directions. He then grabbed her by her hair and threw her in his car. He drove her to a secluded woods not far from his home. White trying to attack her, she said the car somehow started rolling in reverse and she was able to jump out of the car...but not without the car running over her as she fell to the ground. The guys car rolled into a ditch and hit a tree before stopping. Thinking she was safe she tried crawling off the road but as she started to move the guy started his car and drove over her legs again before taking off. Miraculously she didnt break any bones and crawled through the woods to a gas station.
The guy got away but he was identified shortly after. By then he already was half way across the country and committing the same crime again. He now is serving 15 years in prison. The girl is all right except for a scar on her leg. She is still a hottie
Well whether its more often or not, its still happening too often.
You know, in the UK the government insists that those previously convicted of paedophilia be allowed to live amongst the mainstream population when released......oh and you arent officially allowed to know who they are. However, for some strange reason they never seem to be living in wealthy areas.
My brother used to live on an estate where several of these people were located.......it didnt take a genius to figure outwho they were. They were the ones staring at the kids like they were bitches on heat.....the local police unofficially confirmed peoples suspicions. Pretty fucked up to let these people live close to kids. That is just asking for trouble.
I've also just completed teacher training. One thing that really suprised me was the number of times kids would come in saying some man tried to take them away.......or the number of men hanging around outside the school for no apparent reason.
