ironhead pudding

i finaly made some of this stuff.....i cooked some rice in milk (which is how you make rice pudding)...about 2 cups of milk and a half cup of rice, so the rice gets real soft and mushie, mixed it with cottage cheese, strawberry protein powder, some splenda, and frozen strawberries.

pretty damn good.

i am going to try some other variations and always have some of this on hand when I am trying to bulk up.

on another note, I also made some sushi rice (rice w/ricewine vinegar and a little sugar and salt)....i followed the recipe exactly, it is fantastic. I am thinking of making my own sushi at some point. has anyone ever done this? I would imagine it's tricky.

home made sushi

A friend of mine took some class and learned how to make his own sushis... they're pretty tasty... I'm planning on attending one of these classes so I'll tell you if it's worth it, Jerkbox...

There is this Japanese market in Gardena, CA called, "Marukai." They carry all kinds of cool stuff, including this pink packet of sushi mix. The sweet rice wine vinegar type. You just mix it with freshly made rice (still very moist) and stuff it in the little soybean curd pocket (for lack of a better description). Nice and easy...and it tastes great. I've eaten my share of sushi, for what it's worth.

I haven't personally made anything with raw fish (which I absolutely love), but I would like to try making some California Rolls...my boyfriend is officially obsessed with them...he actually got all giddy and started laughing yesterday at the new sushi bar that we went to for lunch. Damn that Las Vegas roll was good (eel and shrimp tempura in the sweet eel sauce....mmmmmmmmm).:D
