Hi. My name is Sassy69 and I'm a liftaholic.

LOL! Actually I've been on EF since the beginning of time or nearly that long ago. Started pushing weights at the age of 16 in 1981 in the ancient weight room at our local YMCA waiting for my dad to meet me for our once weekly racquetball challenge. Discovered I could easily push 100 lb on the old Universal machine leg press. And it just went from there. Back in the day you never saw girls lift weight - only do cardio or Jane Fonda.

Hired my first real trainer in 1991 and discovered that yes, girls can develop biceps :) Didnt' do a real BB show until I was 35 and did one last yr at age 40. Tentatively have 2 planned in July, the first on the day I turn 41...

Currently 160-ish, not sure BF, show in 9 weeks. Hoping to compete at around 140 lb, 6-7%. Then hope even more to maintain at around 145 lb, 12-14% and dump some of the mass and just be a normal person :)

Hi yeah, me too. Be careful though- if I were Sass, I'd throw a dumbbell at your head.... :)

Or at least beat you with my walker. ;)

Here's one thing tho - BB is one sport where muscle maturity actually has value :)

I 31, live in central Georgia, married since 1999, one daughter 1.5 years old. My wife and daughter are the two things I am most proud of and the reason I seached out this board. I love almost all sports(am a DAWG fanatic), wife coaches high school soccer. I am here for information to get my physical life back in order.

Just wanted to drop by, and say hey guys and girls. I'm new here but not new to working out.

I'm 18 and willing to help out here and learn alot of new things.

Hey gang, I am brand new. 34 year old male, married with 2 boys (15/5), I have been an athlete for most of my life and now find that I have somehow turned 34 all over. Started getting serious about 5 weeks ago and am here to learn everything I can. No Gear here.

Would like to start posting in a few more of teh forums and learn more about my diet and training plans.
