~In Praise of BLACK BEANS!!!!~

eh bro, ya the ones in the can are ready to go. Wash the crap off them. They are not hard though?? Mine ar ejust as soft as eating kindey beans or brown beans or anything like that. When you cook with them, they should probably soften up a bit.

Cheers,
Mavy

Damn, damn , damn..now it makes sense..my girl got the soy black beans (organic).....excellent for you as they have very little sodium, very high in protein and no fat....carbs are only 6-8g per serving...about half of the normal kind.....but damn, they are soy....trying them at lunch...we cooked them up in some tomotaoes, fresh green peppers, and seasoning last night........gonna dump them over my chicken breast, or maybe toss them into a wrap....

OH wait, I brough some for my eggs this morning.....I'll let you know in about an hour...lol

lol ... I am eating them with my eggs as we speak.

I took 2 whole eggs, 350ml of eggwhites, mixed em up, and scrambled em in a frying pan in extra-v olive oil, with the black beans mixed in with the egg scramble. Then I melt slices of low fat cheese over it. Damn I love it. lol.

Hope its good bro,
Mavy

Oooo baby....had em in my eggs, awesome

then I threw the soncoction in a pan, tossed in some chicken...threw it on a plate....put in the oven with some cheese on top......baked a tortialla shell...and had a awesome, taco salad kinda meal.......

drain em well, puree them up add some chopped green onions, diced red and jalapeno peppers and cilantro
form into a patty and chill
brown in alittle olive oil and you have a nice lil vegetarian fiberfilled burger
can be abit crumbly i usually add an egg and abit of parmesan but i am not vegetarian
