waiting on EEG test results from Abby, from her EEG on Tuesday. Ruling out seizures/ infantile spasms (West Syndrome)

I should get a call within the hour hopefully

Always nerve racking when it comes to things like this with your kids. Be cool, I'm sure she is fine. ANd no I am not a doctor, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express six months ago.

She has "spasms" at first I thought they were tics. I took of vid of them and brought it to the doc thinking he would brush me off. he didnt.

Just upper body. Not her legs or anything. HOpefully its nothing - the doc didnt say anything to reassure me at all. I'm never going back to him. Does he not have any idea how much this could worry someone? BUt after looking on the internet, she is deveoping normal , at a normal pace so I think its going to be okay. She is standing/crusing around 9 months so that sounds pretty normal to me. She started crawling @ 8 months and could sit at 5 months and rolled over at 2 months I think.....

thats pretty normal. my daughter is 4mos and can almost sit up on her own. my son was the same as your describing but didn't walk till right after his 1st b-day. i think his walking was late because he was scared of falling on the hardwood floor.

I just hope the best for the lil lady.

Yeah, Abby is not ahead on development but she's not behind either. She's pretty much by the book. I guess she's not going to be gifted but thats okay with me She must take after her father. I was a gifted child j/k/n/r

He told me that when he sees tics/spasms like that 50% of the time its something, and 50% of the time they grow out of it, her system is still a little immature I guess and its working out the kinks. Just enough to make me worry about it for almost 2 months! I had the first doc appointment on June 1st and I couldnt get an EEG until July 13th, Ive been worrying this whole time...kinda. I knew in my head it wasnt time to worry yet, but I still did!
