i'm going to the buffet!

IT'S MY FUCKING TURN

set some bench PRs today and i'm HUNGRY. i'm here in fort knox for a few weeks, so i wont have access to boards or boxes or anything. just decline, incline, DBs, etc. i'll up my squat also (probably be using a 5x5 routine)

i actually thought about bodybuilding but i look at them and just think that posing in my underwear next to some other naked guys isn't as fun/rewarding as powerlifting, IMO. \

i look at local bodybuilders (here in ft. knox) and back at home, and i realize that i'm as big or bigger than most of them, and i really don't do any hypertrophy training at all. at least not with hypertrophy in mind, and i GROW big and grow STRONG.

here in kentucky, it's hot and much more humid than in wisconsin. i think i'm going to die

time to pig out on chinese

you are 5 hours away from dardenfest...any way of you making it up there july 19?
 
It would be funny if all you "BUFFET GUYS" got together for a "buffetfest" somewhere with like 20 of you. You guys would fill up the place and empty them out in one sitting. lol

THAT would make EF history.

i can ask but i really doubt it as my aunt and uncle work in the prison here. dont think they can get off. i'll check
 
holy crap i dont think i've ever eaten that much. i didn't even count the plates

mm...chinese. the chinese women seem awesome. not bad-looking, and you know they can cook

The buffet is the safest place to be!!:p
 
yeah but now i feel sick. i'm doing all i can to keep it down

so much for dieting this summer ;)

Hang in there. . .

You can still stay under 242lbs if you work hard. The buffet won't kill you, instead it will increase your peformance.

BTW Jeremy, what type of program are you following for your powerlifting training?
 
well, before i was doing metal militia. it's basically two days bench per week. my split looked like this

monday - raw bench to 3rm
3 and 2 board
rows

wednesday - squat 5x5

friday - shirted bench to heavy singles/triples
5 and 4 board
rows
rack lockouts

now, i'm going to have to do two raw days. i really dont know what else to do. i'd LOVE to lose fat and gain muscle and stay 242. i have lots of cardio stuff available. a pool, track, tennis and bkball courts, hills, roads, ditches, etc. just dont want strength to suffer

I have heard great things about metal militia.

I think if you include some extra cardiovascular conditioning to stay under 242lbs, I don't think you will lose any strength.
 
i'll eat lots of clean food and do some light conditioning stuff. probably basketball and short hill sprints

Thats a good approach.

I will start bicycling real soon (getting my frame ready). I am a little worried that I will not be able to make extra gains, but I will have to wait and see.
 
Food is good. Eat lots of it. Don't puke though, because then you have to start eating again.

They're amazing on the provision that they aren't too traditional. My girlfriend is a fabulous cook and loves taking care of me, looks aside :D
