I wanted to know how many days a week should we be lifting ? I dont want to overtrain, before i would train twice a day 7 days a week and totally burned out. I want to find the perfect balance for my lifting routine.
It is going to vary individual to individual based on the way you train, your age, your goals, etc. I train 6 days a week, however only three of them are heavy and high intensity.

it boils down to too many factors. 3-4 times a week is going to be PLENTY for 99% of people out there doing most workout programs. having said that i like to do some physical activity daily, doesn't have to be the gym which will get tiresome day after day
