I am getting sick of eggs. Never thought of onions, now I will have to try that! (something so simple, but sounds good!) Thanks for the idea!

Evening, Ice! Interesting on the 5x7. I'm going to look into that...especially if it doesn't take long in the gym. How long do you usually spend per session?

Hey FBC!! Generally it takes nelmsjer and I, plus another guy that goes with us, about 40-45min (sometimes an hour on a bad day! :qt: ). BUT...that is only because we have to change weights for three different people. I would say that it would take me about 30 min if I were by myself! ;)

Thanks!! I will. I think I skimmed over that one other time but didn't really get into the meat of it. Funny because I have like 50 different things I have set out to read. I have articles stacked at the house that I still have to get through and stacks here at work. I just wish I could put them up to my head and osmosis would take place!!! I'll get back to you once I read it.

I followed the Tabata protocol for the first three 20-second sprints today.
- The first three sprints followed the following format: 20 second sprint, 10 second rest, 20 second sprint, 10 second rest, 20 second sprint, 40 second rest
- 7, 20 second sprint, with a 40 second rest.
- Cooled down with 6 minutes of jogging, instead of 5.
Nelmsjer and I felt pretty strong and energized today. Maybe due to the start of fat burners’!

absolutely ... immediate effects were VERY similar.. then i got sick & had to stop for a week, then 2 weeks later, it 'hit' ...

Ok so I have decided to try and do a little carb cycling action to see what happens. Today, I started with the LOW carb day - whooaaa!! I need to sit down and plug some options into fitday, and plan each day out a little more precisely so that I am not going on the fly everyday! ;)

Seems that if I'm below 1400 anymore I'm just dying from hunger pangs! Eating gets to be a real pain in the arse when you don't have time and you're starving!

Seems that if I'm below 1400 anymore I'm just dying from hunger pangs! Eating gets to be a real pain in the arse when you don't have time and you're starving!

I hear ya girl, but yesterday was LOW CARB day and 1200 is my allotted calories for the day, as I have it planned for now. I will see how and if my body responds, and then adjust accordingly. ;)

But LOOK OUT today is HIGH CARB day with a CHEAT MEAL!!!!!! :RADAR

Thanks :) Yeah the girl at the gym said she likes me with blonde also. I have got a lot of compliments on being blonde. I had just as many when I was red too. Not so many when I went brown :rolleyes:

Yes I will be blonde for the show. I decided that blonde looks better with a tan.. then my red hair. I plan on going back red this fall. People always say blondes get more attention... frankly I think it's the same as when I was red.

But seriously I loooooove red hair. It stands out more than other colors. I actually color my hair and make it slightly lighter than natural and use a red with it. You can't tell in my avi though, have to be in the light to see it.

I am excited too! And I'm always interested in learning how other 'guinea pigs' respond.

I didn't expect a difference in the scale, or visually in the first week, but I see it - both places. I know y'all told me to chuck the scale, but I couldn't resist!! :D

I'll be carb cycling for 6 or 7 weeks, until Memorial Day - I head out on a 8 day cruise May 28th! What about you - your plans?

Word of caution......low carb days will drain you. A couple hundred extra calories would probably feel pretty good! Just lookin' out for ya'! :kiss: I HATE low carb days!

Fo sure! I am blonde, though it is starting to turn darker as I get older - grrrrrr :evil: But, naturally I have red highlights, what people would call as strawberry blonde! So, I love RED's as well - they ROCK! :heart:

I am excited to see a difference...I haven't noticed anything quit yet but I have only been cycling the carbs for about 4 days now...we shall see.

I plan on carb cycling for about 7.5 weeks...my goal date is the first of June, but not sure if I will be where I would like to be by then...don't get me wrong, I am happy where I am now, but I do have some goals in mind :qt: I would, however, LOVE to make my goal by July 14th ;) heehee

Where are you going on your cruise?? (I am sure you have mentioned it before :verygood: ) HOW EXCITING!! How long have you been carb cycling?

Haaa - so true...red is VERY unique in that not very woman have NATURAL RED hair!! That is why we love our Treil and Bun's soooo much!! You guys are THE coolest!! :bigkiss:

Thanks SG for the caution...Nelmsjer and I did a Low carb diet before our wedding and let me tell you how rough that cycle was!! I lasted about three days of low carbs and then I was worthless...we had to adjust it to where we had three days low and then a day of moderate carbs!! It was still rough, but it did the job!! :qt: This go around, the longest stretch we have is one day low followed by a moderate followed by one day low...for now anyways. We are going to try it for a couple more weeks and then assess from there!! :verygood:

* speaking of "low carb" days... they very much SUCK but there is a positive... the day you "carb up" oh mannnnnn... such an awesome feeling...like your brain is weightless and your body floats and you feel all happy inside... :)

I carb cycled so it was even more intese for me .. geez..3-4 days at 70-80g... and the day I hit 120-140 ... it was HEAVEN :)

Yeah I "Seen" myself not eating. I stayed away from the whole thing. Especially since there were 5 kids with easter baskets and chocolate, and cadbury egss... I just decided to not join the family and stayed home. Not like I didn't see them friday...
I think avoidance is the key to not falling into temptation
