I'm counting individual pills, literally. The things I'm taking don't come in compounds, I have some very specific health issues and it's taken a lot of time to work this "science" out. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone else, but I don't know anyone else whose health is as fubar'd as mine. I'm hypersensitive to a lot of stuff in addition to allergies, I literally can overdo vitamin supplements quite easily, so I have to take mostly neutriceuticals. Most whole food complexes are bulkier, requiring you to take multiple pills.
Probiotic complex 6 capsules
Garlic 2 capsules
Chlorella 4 caps
Wholefood complex (multivitamin) 4 caps
Digestive enzymes 3 or more (depends on meal #)
Coq 1
Fishoil 1
B100 1
Glucose regulator 4
As you see, almost entirely food supplements, NOT individual vitamins or minerals, except for the B100.
I do medical reports where people are taking that many prescription medications.
