I think it's scary all you Yankees seem to own guns

Yes you are correct Casavant, but I was all alone and stumbled upon the guns. Just like anyone would, curiousity got the best of me and I held them. Couldn't resist of course. Could you? Could anyone?

However, I didn't like the "feel" of holding a gun in my hand and put back right away. Probably held them for 5 seconds or so.

I thought that Canada had quite a few gun owners. What's the deal on y'all's gun laws?

You didn't like the feel of it, huh? Well, nothing wrong with that I suppose.

I've been around people who aren't familiar with guns while I was handling one myself, and they've gotten really nervous. LOL. Not because I was being careless, but just because they were so unfamiliar with firearms and seemed to almost view it like a poisonous snake or something. I mean, I could lock the action back and show them that there was no clip in the weapon and no round in the breech, but since they had no mechanical understanding or knowledge of safety protocol whatsoever, they somehow still thought it was dangerous and was going to go off at any time. :FRlol:

..the U.S. Constitution gives us the right to bear arms so I see no reason not to...

Awww...you were doing so good until you said this. The Constitution grants no rights. It is a binding document which restrains government from violating "God given, inalienable rights", essentially rights held by men.

In reference to the second amendment, this is derived from the right of protection, be it personal or for national defense; the right of each individual to protect himself and family. Arms are simply the means to accomplish this right.

Do not be one of the uneducated who believes that government gives you rights. Government only takes them away.

Ah yes, I stand corrected...either way, I will bear my arms proudly...
