I've been around people who aren't familiar with guns while I was handling one myself, and they've gotten really nervous. LOL. Not because I was being careless, but just because they were so unfamiliar with firearms and seemed to almost view it like a poisonous snake or something. I mean, I could lock the action back and show them that there was no clip in the weapon and no round in the breech, but since they had no mechanical understanding or knowledge of safety protocol whatsoever, they somehow still thought it was dangerous and was going to go off at any time.
