Klu - a black diamond slope is a VERY hard trail.....and a double black diamond is even harder than that....

none of that stuff in the alps

blue is easy
red is medium
black is tough

Then there are slopes that are "ribbed" black but there´s two different labels for that

East coast mountains a double black diamond is equal to a black diamond on the west coast. Basically drop one level for every difficulty level. A double black in the west coast is non-existant in the east coast. The mountains are just not steep enough or dangerous enough.

Hmmmm - I don't think I could handle the Alps - I'm not getting on a tram that goes over a 3-500ft gorge....no way...

Did pretty good today - a buddy of mine is a ski instructor + racer so he helped me work on my form today + my turns.....EXCELLENT day, but cold - oh and I found a quarter!! Yay!!
