I need a new gym wardrobe

where you guys get your gym clothes from?

usually i don't care what I wear to the gym, but my gym clothes SUCK. They are so old, and they don't even fit right.

I think I just have to start a new wardrobe from scrath...lol

There is nothing wrong with being concerned about fashion in the gym. otherwise there would not be such a huge selection of gym attire out there to be bought. There are people who don't wish to look like their mother's didn't teach them how to dress themselves before they go out of the house.
Nike did not get to be so huge with just their shoes.

I stick with Nike and Addidas, which can be bought anywhere.

I usually go with sleeveless tops made from some type of dry-wick material, and typical mid-thigh length shorts. Finish it off with running shoes and short white socks. Simple and clean.

Why bother with fashion, "they" ask? Some people just care about their apperance, that's all. ;)

Kohl's ... I'm cheap.

Sweats, T's, socks and jocks. Everything at a bargin.

Everything oversized and color fast so they can go in the washer and dryer.

But not shoes. I have the three strap Adidas with the wooden lift. Your feet take too much of a beating and weight to neglect them.

Just go to any sporting good store and get semi-fitted shorts and a T-shirt. Nike, Addidas, Under-Armour ( the loose fitting kind ),

i wear under armour sliders and the heat gear (tight) but i wear a white T over the top and shorts also i dont like my balls hanging out on leg day on the sled so i love the sliders, get some good shoes, and cut off socks ftw

It's not like I go to the gym to get women or anything, but I understand you want to look decent and presentable just in case. So many people at the gym look like fools wearing clothes that are too tight, too revealing, don't match, etc...

Probably the best advice you'll ever get is to keep everything you wear to the gym black, white, and grey (that means everything: shoes, socks, shirts, shorts/windpants)... that way everything matches. You could add one more dark color like blue or green to that mix, but just those basic 3 keeps it real simple and you'll always look good. You don't want to be the moron with an orange sweatshirt, green striped pants, and a yellow baseball cap.

Personally, when I hit the gym, I wear a cotton or mesh tshirt or sleeveless tshirt, bball shorts or satin windpants (nobody on earth likes a guy with short shorts), and cross trainers with low cut socks. Sometimes I wear under armour under the t-shirt if I'm gonna do cardio; it's nice for wicking so you don't get drenched in sweat and look like a slob.

TJMaxx or Marshalls (same stores just different names depending on where in USA) are where I get most stuff. They have adidas, Nike, etc for about half the price that you'd pay at footlocker or Champs. If you want to go online, dickssportinggoods, eastbay or fogdog might be good (add dot com after those)...
