I had the same problem a year ago. I hit 315 and couldn't get a single pound more. So, I threw flat bench right out.
I started with Incline Barbel (18, 12, 10, 8, 6)
then incline d-bell (12, 10, 8, 8)
then flat rev grip (18, 12, 10, 8)
then flat close grip-shoulder with (18, 12, 10, 8)
use flies, incline and flat, for shape only
I followed this exactly for 10 weeks. Went back to flat bench, jumped 15 pounds my first day back. Two weeks later 35lbs. Since then, 185lbs. Haven't hit a platuea since. I do remove flat from my routine after 10 weeks on. So, 10 on 10 off, etc. It works wonders.
