I think the big difference in social life in students is caused by the "campus" phenomenon you guys have where students only live amongst students in highly dense communities.

There are sluts here, but they are a very rare exception. I know few people who even have one night stands. Even in the rich, good looking kids crowd. The big pimp guys have 2 month- relationships.

I guess it could also be related to the fact that the median school in Europe kicks the shit out of the median school in the USA. A handful of institutions in the USA do amazing work and have the most challenging courses, but the other 99.999% are BS, is what I heard from all sources on all sides.

Maybe it´s also because of the more free way of thinking about sex in Europe generally. I don´t know. There is DEFINATELY something going on. I´ve seen those Girls Gone Wild videos. That stuff does not happen here. Ever.

If you party like american students are supposed to party, youd never graduate here. just not happening. even if it were just because of the compulsory attendance gigs.

There are in my student town of 25-30 k students, maybe 300 guys who like to actually get drunk, as in, black-out, don´t remember it next day drunk on a regular basis.

mine was close to double that. i'm sure a lot of guys black out, i've done it a few times, but i prefer to stay slightly buzzed or not drink at all.

you have to remember its probably legal where your at to drink at 18 or younger. thus part of the reason so many US college kids drink more often. its cool because your not allowed to be doing it. around 22 i think the average college student reduces drinking from the time they started college
