Listen to Obiwan young grasshopper and you will learn! LOL

Hey, check out thrift stores & garage sales -- you may be able to find a crockpot real cheap or just get a basic one for $10 or so at Walmart/Kmart....

With a crockpot you can buy a lower cut of meat, put it in the crock & that will tenderize it....you can make chili, stew -- beef or turkey, pulled pork, etc

The net is a great resource for recipes.....Buy lots of cheap spices & spice mixtures if you can't afford fresh.....

Plus, practice!! I've had to toss stuff before cuz it didn't turn out but you'll learn.....

Post here often & ask questions! We're here to help!

a fully stocked larder of herbs and spices is a MUST too, right Obiwan? :D
not necessarily
just whatever you like most

but i tend to have a refrigerator like most chinese
full of condiments that i suse in cooking

I buy lots of spices from all kinds of stores...... cheap-type stores too....and lots of Mrs. Dash when on sale, dried chile peppers, etc

I think spices are important....condiments tend to get lost in my fridge....
