Lumberg- abductors are key to keep a stable knee at the bottom, do those after your leg workout to directly work them. Also work the tear drop by front squating or split squats to help front knee support. Startsmall these I would recommend for you as well.

By the way you set up for you squats exactly like I do, walk up, grab the bar, drop down, stretch up past the shoulders, then settle back under the bar. SWEET.
