Normally I sit up completely perpendicular but that pic was snapped on my very last set. When using 280lbs on the cable row the last set I end up cheating on.
I never do dead lifts. On the advice of my chiropractor. The muscular developement is basic nill, and the exposure to lower back damage extreme. Not that Yates rows are any easier on the back but the Muscular Development is very high from the Yates RoWs.
Muscular development from deadlifts is nil? as in nothing?? Whoever told you that is doing them very wrong or doesnt know what they are talking about.
BTW if you deadlift correctly lower back problems shouldnt happen. It is only when you cheat or try to go heavier than you are capable of that this happens.
Just my 2c.
