How many of you do cardio in the offseason, I'm back and forth on this topic-do you think it can really help?

honestly, i used to not. after starting too though i notice my overall recovery and energy levels are much higher and evenm during my workouts. i find i don't run out of "gas" as soon. a moderate amount is good. just don't overdue because too much cardio is detrimental to muscle building because it lowers test levels as well as making the type-2A muscle fibers more endurance oriented at a time when your goals are mass and strength

Mike P.T. knows his shit, as a pt I never really do cardio, depends on goals and body type...

i have the genetics to stay ripped with very little cardio, but i also lift 6 days a week, heavy sessions, believe it or not lifting weights does exercise the heart...

thx bro. and lifting weights definately does exercise the heart. especially when u rest less in between sets. nothing kills my heart and lungs more than a heavy set of squats. good stuff.

or heavy DEADS...i personally only rest 1 min in between reps and superset alot

TRUE DAT.

Having said that, personally I'm a big believer in cardio, though, not just because (FOR ME!) I just "feel" leaner & less flabby, but because it's nice to be able to climb my 20 flights of stairs in my building when the piece of shit elevators are broken and STILL be able to help a hot chick with her groceries without running out of breath :)

Fuck, I'm winded going up a single flight of stairs-maybe I better start my cardio

I try to watch my diet very closely so I can do as little cardio as possible, I hate it...

genetics would seem to be the best inidcator. Some (not me damn it!) can stay lean w/out. I need to day 3-4 days at 3040 min.
