How many of you do Incline DB curls

How many of you do incline Dumbell curls? I used to do preacher and concentration curls...but have since learned that the muscle under the bicep does most of the work. I heard that the inclines and keeping your pinky higher than you thumbs really isolates the bicep muscle.
So I tried it...Well I tried with the same weight that I always did my concentration curls and I could not bang out but 3 reps! I reduced weight and did three set of 8 and the fourth set to failure although the third set was to failure at #8...roughly 45 second pause between sets.

MAN WHAT A BURN. I fried the bicep like I have never felt. It was too cool, I will stay with those for a while!

One of my two basic moves, along with standing Barbell curl.

The incline moves your arms behind your back which "pre-stretches" your bi's, makes it a lot harder, plus it forces you to be strict!!

papuche, love supersetting straight into standing barbell curls, with a lighter weight! Really toast the bi's... :)

Personally I don't do them, I get a messed up feeling in my back where the lats tie into my shoulders its weird.

Instead I just do them in the regular seated positions, along with preachers, barbell curls.....basically anything thats not a machine/cable works awesome for my biceps.

Exactly. The cool thing about incline curls is that they are essentially cheat-proof, which you really can't say about any other curl excercise.

Psy, How much do you lower the rest? perhaps you could try a rather vertical position (IMHO)..:)

Do them on an incline bench, sitting all the way back, let your arms hang down straight so they are basically behind the torso, then curl back up. Stretches the biceps out.
