I'm in a weightlifting class in school right now and the coach puts the "Power" workout up for us. We work out 5x week, and those are consecutive days.
Typical Workout Is:
Squats/ Front Squats/ Split Squats
Hang Clean/ Clean & Jerk
Push Press/ Snatch
Dips/ Close Grip Bench
Straight Bar Curl/ Pull- Ups
The "/" is just what the exercise is usually substituted on various days of the week. We usually have 5 exercises a day. I think it is a lot of work, especially since it is mostly all upper body. We do about 4-5 sets with heavy weight and low reps (4,3,2,1,1).
I'm wondering if you consider this to be overtraining and working out too much. How much do you usually do per week?
