how many abs a day

Hi guys, how many reps of abs do you think somebody has to do daily to results asap following a very clean diet? also, as I understand muscles need recovery time after your exercise them, and do you think abs muscles too need it or you can do abs everyday?

abs are not made in the gym, they are made in the kitchen man

if you have fat covering up your abs you will never see them !!

men store fat in our stomachs last, so you really gotta knock your total body fat down! you can also use yohimflame to spot burn the fat

Everyone has a six pack, just most people have it covered with fat, and no matter how strong you will make them - if there is fat over it, it won't be visible. Besides, abs are rather easy to develop, and there is absolutely no need to work on them everyday - 2-3 times per week should be plenty. In fact, your abs will benefit much more from squats and bench presses, rather than from training the abs themselves. The reason being the fact that you will burn more fat by training large muscle groups, which will lead to greater fat loss, and consequently more visible abs.

It's best to train abs with short high rep workouts every other day or 3 days per week.

The goal when training the abdominals is completely different then when training other body parts. When training other body parts like chest, back, legs etc. the goal is to make those muscles bigger and larger.

That obviously isn't the goal with abdominals. With abs, the goal is to define them and keep the midsection tight.

You want to train abs with high reps and to train them frequently to tone the midsection and keep the midsection tight.

This is the template I recommend for ab training:
super set 1 : 3-4 sets of lower ab exercise x 20 reps super set with upper ab exercise x 20 reps
super set 2: 3-4 sets of lower ab exercise x 20 reps super set with upper ab exercise x 20 reps
3-4 sets of an oblique exercise like decline bench romanian twists - 20 reps per side
1 set to failure of a functional ab exercise like plank or ab roller

I don't train abs any different than any other muscle group. Just 1-2 times per week. The main thing with abs is the clean diet like you are already doing. Just make sure you are in a deficit to actually be losing body fat.
