Hi, i am doing a routine I got out of Muscle and Fitness (august '01 issue) and it mentions a couple of exercises I'm not familiar with. If you konw what these are could you help me out?

Also, on leg day, it says to do lunges. I think I know what these are, but should you do them with dumbells in each hand at your sides or holding a weighted barbell behind your neck?
