but what else can i use.

maybe i should write down that im on a cutting diet so nothing whit to much calories.

thanks guys

make tuna salad, use miracle whip and add black pepper, fresh garlic, a dap of mustard and pickle relish.

or sweet tuna salad, use miracle whip and fatfree yogurt, mix in chopped apple, (nuts of choice) canned pears, and a dash of salt and pepper

make sure you drain tuna well. if its CHUNK (not solid) put in a strainer and use hand to force out all liquid, the rinse with cool water and repeat. do this before mixing any extras in it. it will make a better base to mix ingredients in

Drain and rinse tuna

Add 3-4 eggs or egg whites

Add Indian or Moroccan spices or Green onions

Form into patties

Cook in non-stick pan with 1 cal spray

I make up about 12 at a go, they last about 3 days then and they are great hot or cold.

i gotta eat my tuna warm.. i normally throw on season salts or somthing similar *mrs dash* and just brown it on a skillet till its warm.. when it gets cooked it doesnt seem to have its fishy taste but man is is dry.. i need a giant glass of water to get it all down

I just cooked without oil on a frypan tomatoes, red peppers and onions. With salt, this seems enough to make anything taste good to me

Yes, it would be now taste good because of the ingredients specially onions which one of my favorite as an extra ingredients.

I make patties as well - drain, add pleny of olive oil, 30 g oats per 150g tuna, sundried tomatoes, basil, corriander, chopped olives, garlic. Make into 150g patties and bake.

About 500 cals per burger, nice addition of a small amount of low GI carbs for th insulin, ideal for an evening meal on a cutter. Also, if sugar is no issue , add lots ketchup and they taste great!

I use Red Wine Vinegar. I take off the cap to the bottle, fill it half way or so and throw it on there.

I eat a ton of tuna. One trick i use to change it up is adding it to left overs. For example pasta, i eat a small portion of pasta an hour or two before some workoutsor right after. If i have left over pasta from the night before i always add tuna to it before i heat it up. Might be something to try

I personally dont eat tuna but one of my homies in the marinecore also said add BBQ sauce. Not the healthiest alternative since it probably has high sugar but If you can find some low fat/low sugar type then there you go

Atkins makes low carb BBQ sauces.

Lemon pepper or a few drops of Lemon Juice can help.

No-salt seasoning like Mrs. Dash is always a good choice.

I personally dont like too much 'heat' to my food, but chili peppers and shit might be up your alley.

Salmon tastes better than tuna, btw. More calcium (from the bones) and more fat though.
You can usually get 1lb cans for around $1.75-2.50 each.

Anyone here eat Jack Mackerel? Heard its under $1 per 1lb can. Thats cheap.

I hate tuna too, but I actually enjoy it (somewhat) with this concoction I eventually came up with...

Mix 1 can of white albacore tuna with:
- lowfat or nonfat mayonaise
- mustard
- hot sauce
Then spread on plain saltine crackers.

For some reason that mixture of those three condiments seems great to me. Amounts are up to your preference, but I usually use a good deal of mayo and it only needs very little mustard and hot sauce.

Also, try different brands, they do make a difference. I find that I like "BumbleBee" brand the best, and albacore is the best quality. :jenscat
