Hey there.
I think this is my first post on this board - I've been lurking for a while reading things everyone else has had to say, but I finally thought I'd get out there and ask my own question.
As the subject of this post says, I'm looking to lose the absolute maximum inches in the next 10 days. Before you ask, I'm not someone who's just decided 10 days before a big event that I need to start working at it.. I've been on a weight loss plan for 2 years now, and finally 7 months ago found something that worked for me and have lost 62lbs. Recently though I discovered T-Tapp and decided that inch loss, not lb loss was the way for me to go.. and lo and behold, after a 14 day BC everyone was telling me how great I looked - they never did that along the way to 62lbs loss!. Of course, before T-Tapp I was a frantic exerciser.. At the gym daily but mainly cardiovascular work done of the machines like cross trainer, treadmill and bike.
Anyway, in 10 days time I leave the UK for Japan. I'm going there on a month long part research part vacation trip.. Anyway, obviously I'd like to look great for this.. especially since I have a habit of liking to wear very small PVC clothes - I guess you could call me a goth, or visual kei freak if you know the term! I have been working really hard so this isn't me being last minute.. but..
Basically I was wondering if anyone here could give me any advice as to how I can lose the maximum inches (especially around the waist, hips and thighs) and generally just make myself look fantastic in the next 10 days - actually I'm going shopping in a week for new clothes, so some loss by then would be good! <laughs>
A little info about me.. I am 5'8" and currently weight 178lbs and my measurements are as follows :-
Waist : 31"
Hips : 37.5"
Under chest : 31.5"
Bum : 42"
Thighs : 24"
Above Knee : 17.5"
Calf : 15.5"
Upper Arm : 12" + 12.5"
I have another 15-20lbs to lose I think to reach my goal, but as I mentioned before.. I'm going more for inch loss now so am not standing on the scales so much.
My food intake over the last 7 months has been low carb and meal replacement - i.e. 2 high protein low carb shakes a day and 1 low carb meal (basically a piece of fish (I don't eat meat) and veg). Of course, there's been the occasional slip up.. but thats roughly been it. I'm currently trying to slowly incorporate carbs back into my plan because when I get to Japan I'll be on a traditional japanese diet of protein + carb (probably tofu + noodles!).
Okay, I think thats everything you need to know. If you do need to know more, just give me a kick. I'd really be glad of any help you could offer. Oh, in case I didn't mention it.. I'm not looking to get bulky, but to develop long lean muscles and well.. lose inches and plenty of fat (because, of course thats the main problem!)! Thanks again.
EDITING to say that exercise wise, I have access to a very good gym with bikes, cross trainers, treadmills and steppers and a wide range of weights machines, various classes and a swimming pool in case any of these things will help!
