How bad is steak for you? How much do u guys eat a week?

i'm eating 3-5 steaks a week cuz i love it and i get sooo sick of eating chicken. i have a feeling it's not healthy tho. how bad is steak for you? am i gonna have a heart attack at a young age if i keep this up?

how much steak are you guys eating?

eat more steak!!!! steak is the king of all anabolic foods. eat it 2 or 3 times per day and drink milk to.
 
i thought eating a lot of steak was really bad for you... i read that if you eat 6oz of steak a week you are 40or50% more likely to have high colesterol and at risk for all kinds of problems like heart attacks
 
well i was at serous risk of heart atack a few months back. my heart was enlarges and my levels where all over the place. my diet, size, training, and heavy steroid use where all equally responsible. i am only 31.
my heart is now fully recoveren and healthy. i am doing things differently now but i still eat steak 2x per day. the key is to get lean cuts. the steak where you cant see any grains of fat in it and you trim the fat off the edges before you cook. mak your fats healthy ones like nuts, eat lots of whole grain carbs, take vitamins, and do cardio 3 or more times per weak.

i am talking from a bodybuilding stand point. if you want to only focus on health then you shouldnt be eating much of any protein source like beef or chicken. you would want roughly 2 oz of lean meat or fish 4x per day with fruits, veggies, nuts, and a little grains
 
A good diet day for me includes a pound of chicken tits and a pound of lean red meat. If you can afford it and are not at a high risk for heart disease or colon cancer eat it up. Joe makes good some good points. I would add digestive enzymes and probiotics along with fish oil.

I'm typing this and eating my pre bed 8oz serving of ground sirloin :)
 
I get up at 0400 for work. It's 8:30 here. I'll be sleeping by 9:00.

Damn bro, what kind of job requires you to get up at 4am?

also i eat steak 2-3 times when im bulking up. steak has so many benefits. when im dieting/cutting down, i still eat 8oz of re meat once a day everyday.
