just found this site today and signed up right away. I had been lurking around WBB forums for a while but what I really needed was a women's forum...
that being said--I've been an on and off athlete, runner, lifter for years and years but something always happens where i stop for a while, get lazy, get unhealthy, get fed up and start again. Last April, I got into hardcore lifting rather than spot training and small free weights. I also began eating clean, and tracking EVERYTHING I ate wich I had never done before. Though, I still had work to do-I have to say I looked good--definition in places I never even thought of! But yet again, I fell off in October (due to an injury) and it's amazing how quickly all that progress dissapears! I actually weigh less than I did then, but it's more fat and less muscle as I'm not as defined as I was. So I'm trying to get back on track and began my routine this weekend. (no more reading a magazine on the bike and calling that a workout--i know! so bad!
)
As I read the post from the mod about pissing and moaning and to suck it up...I just wanna say--I totally know those lapses are all my fault and I have no excuses. I really want to commit once and for all for this to be a way of life for me, not 6 months in the gym and 6 months on the couch! I'm hoping maybe the info, chat, and support from females might help tho i know, in the end, it's only me who can make it happen.
