Hey Ladies... ;-) Like being tan? Try Fantasy Tan

Thought I'd post a little info on fantasy tan for those who are really interested :D

Well, you are basically airbrushed. You go in wearing whatever you would to the tanning bed, well, unless you go nude, some places might be a lil' shy 'bout that but just wear as little as possible.

Anyway.... a technician will spray you head ta toe w/ a tanning solution that contains DHA (which is in most sunless tanners)

When (DHA) is applied to the skin, it causes a chemical reaction with the amino acids in the skin to produce a tan, much like the sun does, but without UVA and UVB damage to the skin.

You can see the color instantly but the color deepens over the course of the day (or 8 hrs) I think it's best to apply it at night after you've showered and exfoliated the shin that way you can sleep in it and the solution has time to "stain" the skin.

It works differently for different skin types. Some people it will last up to 2 weeks and others maybe only 4 days. I personally think it's worth the $$$. Prices do vary depending on location. Some places here charge $15/session. Prices can be as high as $30/session. And if you purchase a package of sessions you can usually get a good deal.

No orange color at all. It's very natural looking, I was so impressed w/ it, that I'm now buying the system for my training studio.

While you're being sprayed the color looks kind-of odd but w/ in minutes (before they're even finished w/ ya) it's bronze and like I said before the longer you leave it on before showering, the better it looks.

Here's a video clip~

Sounds very cool. But I just checked out the NY location prices, and they are charging $90 - $110 per session. WTF??!!!

OMG!!!:freak: Now that's just insane. Was that for the Fantasy tan or the Mystic tan.

Stay away from the Mystic tan booths, they do run a lil' higher $$$ and they use the same amount of solution for a 350 lbs person as they would foe a 100 lbs person. So you can pretty much count on some streaks.

I've done alot of research on the airbrush tanning and most companies will not sell the system to someone for personal use but I have found a couple that might would. And honestly the price is very reasonable (especially since you looking at paying $90 bucks a pop) and it does seem very easy ta use.
If you're interested let me know.

That was for the Fantasy Tan!:eek2:

There are a couple places in NJ that do Fantasy Tan so I will call them and see what their prices are like. That's the thing about NYC salons...they just love to rip you off.

I got Japanese Hair Straightening done at a japanese salon for $280, but the regular American salons said it started at $600 and went up to $1200!!!

That's just a rip off  sorry....it's not worth $90. a session.

If you just want it for personal use you can get away w/ using the "cheaper systems". You can buy the whole system w/ start up package and all, from one of the no name companies for like $1,500 :dance2: If ya think about it......that's a great deal. Al ya need is a friend ta spray ya from time ta time. Sure beats skin cancer.

I just got a price from another company. $700 for the whole system. That includes the airbrush, 1 gallon of tanning solution, Tan extending moisturizer, pre-tan exfoliant, and cleaner for the airbrush.

Awesome deal for personal use.
