SSS -- I have to admit that broccoli did the same thing to me once I first started eating it regularly. But it eventually faded (the reaction). I guess my system eventually got used to it!

Well, I would like to do that, but the wife isn't so keen on it. :lmao:

My favorite way to eat mushrooms is with those large shitake mushrooms. Put some olive oil on 'em, add cheese and toppings and tada! A mushroom pizza!

Marinate portobello mushrooms with Italian dressing -- just pour it on the gill side & let sit for about 20 mins, then grill. Awesome!!!!

(tell your wife to suck it up! LOL :p )

seems high sulfer foods would if broc does
i have the flatuence probs only with potatoes
and goes way when i take a sup
not that i eat potatoes anymore

i love shiitake
i can eat pounds at one sitting
fav way is just stirfried with ginger garlic and soy
go figure
another way
learned this from an old japanese lady
is to roast them sitting on pine needles
(mushrooms grow in the forest mainly pine and oak forest)

i should try roasting them over oak coals since shiitakes are found on decaying oak trees

try stuffing em with some spinach goat cheese and green peppercorns after you mari them and right before you grill em

She does suck it up. Every last drop of it. :P

Eggs do if I eat too many of them...

I've tried papaya enzymes and beano and some other thing I don't recall the name of. I figure if my body doesn't like them, why keep feeding them to my body. So I adjust my diet around those kinds of things.

Another portobello mushroom recipe: bake portobellos till tender -- knife goes thru easy....top with spaghetti sauce, spinach & fontina cheese then bake or broil till cheese melts. Now that's a pizza!!

Oh you could add meat if you wish I guess....
