Greatest Rock Band of all time ?!!

yeah...there must be like a million dudes out there that can do hammer-ons and pull-offs like angus...not...

Angus is great, all I'm saying is that their music follows a very traditional and basic 4/4 rock time signature in nearly every song. It's good listening, it's just very basic and simple. That's not necessarily a negative thing or a criticism.

The first song I teach my drum students to play is Back in Black. Within 3 months of practice and lessons, a noob drummer can play 75% of all AC/DC songs.

How long until they can do this?

That depends on their level of talent.

That speed and control takes years to develop.

As much as I dislike that type of music, some of those metal drummers are damn good.

Some people could try their entire lives and not ever get good enough to play stuff like that.

On a 1-10 scale of talent, I'd rate myself around a 7. There are tons of good drummers much better than myself. I play what I like and hardly ever venture outside of my comfort zone. I couldn't play that stuff right now, but with about 6 months of daily practice, I could get it down pretty decent. It's just not what interests me so I don't care much to learn that style well.

agreed buffy , i play drums myself and their stuff is piss easy to play.
But even in their 60's now these guys fill every venue they play worldwide - and you will never see a better stage show.:garza:
i've probably seen them in a dozen countries over the past 20 years .
BTW i also love wrestling and taylor swift .
