Great Workout with the chains

I went over to a friends house and worked out with the chains a al Westside. That was the first time I ever used chains and I thought it was great!!! If I remember correcty I worked up to 310 with the bar plus the chains added 45 lbs at the top for 3-5 reps(honestly cannot remember how many). I really did enjoy working with the chains. The only thing I can say about the deloading phase is... cool. We also did step-ups on a 24 inch box to really hit those hammies and glutes,and then finished up with bottom position speed front squats 3x5. After a brief rest I attempted a glute/ham raise.. once got to almost parallel it felt like a thousand needles in my hamstrings. Very humbling to say the least. My hats off to anyone, male or female who can do reps on the glute/ham raise machine. Overall a great short,sweet workout.
