Got robbed at work today-

So these 3 punk ass 3-40 yr old black men come in to my shop today. 2 of them immediately got to the service dept and start talking about this or that and even go as far as to call my builder over to ask him questions. In hind sight it was so he could see the back of the store. The 3rd one walks in back like he's getting a drink of water or hitting the can. No big deal. Then he just walks out of the store. The other 2 pretty much say OK thanks and leave.

Now I thought the 3rd guy looked a lil suspicious, but really didn't put too much into it until I went in back to head out and noticed the safe door open. FUCK!! That mutherfucker wasn't hitting the can, he was hitting the safe. We always leave it unlocked too during the day, cause no one goes back there and it's hidden under a desk. Besides we need to get change or grab the money for the armored cars when they come and shit. Luckily the truck came a few days ago, so they didn't get much.

Fuckin pisses me off tho. How the fuck did they know where it was, and how did they know it would be unlocked? Well it never will be again, unless I'm putting money in or taking money out.

I'm thinking an ex employee put them up to it. Thank god for credit card transactions or they could have walked out with a lot of money.

Oh and I think I broke my big toe over the weekend and cant walk for shit. No legs this week.

That fucking sucks. Do you carry at work? I would find out the state laws on firearms in your place of business. I would carry and shoot any fuck who even tried to rob me.
 
An unlock safe is defeating the whole purpose there.

Get your builder and all together and give descriptions to the police. Sounds like they have their game down and have tried it before. Maybe other leads will help catch them.

yeah but it sounded like he didnt realize it until they were gone: they didnt rob him at gunpoint. but yeah. i'd definitely retaliate if i knew i was getting beat.
maybe they have a problem and bought crack. they'll get theirs.
 
Inside job? Who knows. Criminals are opportunists! They've been there before and went to use the bathroom etc... Now you and me just use the bathroom and leave, but CRIMINAL OPPORTUNISTS LOOK AROUND, SNOOP AROUND (fucking assholes!) while they are doing this. They are ALWAYS looking, snooping around all day long. We don't see it because we don't do it or it is not affecting us. One day, they see the safe and realize it's a score for the taking.

It is not luck. They lay waiting, the slime that they are.

I read local papaer stories of old ladies getting their purses stolen from Target shopping cart when they "just for a minute..." tuened around. YES, the opportunists are there waiting to strike. It' is NOT a coincidence.

Now I'm pissed!

So fucking glad I'm not a mod anymore, or half of you people would be banned.

Any good thief will "case" a place before he strikes it

If an employee knew the safe was unlocked and the word got out , anyone could have robbed them

I have no idea if they were packing or not. The guy who hit the safe just kinda looked at me as he walked out. I keep replaying it in my head wondering if i had ran in the back right then and saw the safe door open, what would have happened if i had tried to stop him. Did he have a gun? Who knows? I can't get that shit out of my head. Driving me nuts.

Yeah and keeping the safe open didn't help any, but like i said it was hidden and unless you knew it was there you would never see it. FUCK!!

Dude, snooping! People robbed my house moved all the pics on my walls to look for a safe behind it. Every single picture hanging was tilted to the side, on the wall. They look everywhere. They have a different mind set than us.

cant imagine it was more than a couple G's if he had to stuff it all in his pockets in a quick amount of time.
 
They got 4 deposit bags, which consisted all of about $400 in cash and a little more than that in checks which are useless. Thankfully most of our transactions are credit cards.

That's an inside job. Either a current or former employee told them where the money is and htat the safe is unlocked.

They have crime stoppers. I used to watch it when I had cable. Don't have it on dish. Might be worth a shot though.

The situation does not change what the race of the person was, you were robbed, it was an inside job, and you didn't have cameras..

glad you were not injured, or maimed during the robbery..
