Greatlifting lifting Jay! and I finally got to see the issue, I have been back training for 3 weeks and I am weighing 318. I am thinking about competing at the USPF deadlift nationals in April.

318! You can probably move some serious iron. Go for it man up your records and get that fire burning again! Hows your strength after 3 weeks? How long were you out?

I have not trained since last march since I tore my tricep tendon, I have been training with a few guys up here and I want to get my weight up to 335 by april to do some heavey squats and deadlifts this coming year. I am not going to try to bench over 500 until May, to give me some time to let my arm heal up. Are you going the the Arnold this year. Let me know and I meet up with you to eat. God knows I will be eating alot by then.

Well i was going to the arnold if i hadnt moved back to Florida. But it looks like i aint gonna make it. I sure wish i could though. I would love to check out the expo. But good luck and take it slow it will come back faster then you think.

Well the WPO has a 48 hr weigh in which is great to rehydrate. But i carb depleted for 3 days took laxitive before bed and took water pills (diurex) 5 times a day. Got to daytona and sat in the sauna and sweat off the last 6 lbs. Weighed in at 220lbs. When i got home after stoppinbg to drink and eat i was 230. And when the meet rolled around i was back to 240lbs. It was mainly water weight. No lasix, or anything illegal. But if you know what your doing that is the way to go. Carb depleting is good for 8 lbs in 3 days wate rpills are good for 5 and laxative and enima the morning of is another couple then sauna. Dont try it unless you have some time to get right.
